since it's my 1 year anniversary with dA, i decided to make a compilation of my fakemons.gosh. i have so few done in a year. would take me a lot of years to complete everything =.=
if you like the individual fakemons, please do fav+ them individually in my gallery. if you think you see something you don't like, please also comment on the individual pieces.
i think i'll update this along the way. but the file size will be very heavy. i hope i won't crash somewhere next time.
ok. here they are. my fakemon til 4-9-2009 on dA. 42 of them

P/s: notice that royalpass is not in it. i'm not going to touch on the officials. but lapi lapi is there, yay~!! XD
2/10/2009 added in 3 more to make a total of 48 (3 were added without notice)
8/10/2009 added 4 more to make 52. good, i'm on the right track. will be hoping for a good number come year end. though 100 would be quite impossible.

11/10/2011. almost a year since my last update... but the truth is... for those who haven't made your own dexes, you don't know, and can't imagine the satisfaction of me while i was compiling the whole thing. i can see my own drawings and where i come from, and where i'm going. i'm so happy that i've update this. i'll get this one done this year for sure.

anyhow, this update is really worth it. now, i can visibly see how many pokes i need! 14 left! i know i said i have roughly 8 left just the other day. but i decided to add 10 blocks more. what would've been 4 left just the other day is now 14 left. and, most important of all, i'm quite sure which designs to fill it up with. finally, i can see myself finishing this dex...

pandaichi is the hardest fakemon to get according to my own imagination. if he's not there, i'd imagine your team being a bit weak to fire type. XD

yes, i am still working on it. but when i'll finish it, i don't know. i promised myself to finish it on june. but failed.
i joined the mercs to keep myslef on time and push myself to practise drawing a lots. i think i'm on the right track.
as for this dex. i will finish it. and with my practises in the merc, i think i can make them a little bit quicker than previously done. so, i'm still very positive.

sorry for being so lare in my reply...
first, paint isn't really the program for doing serious arts. maybe you could try to download something a little bit better.
second, have you tried to shrink the size of the drawing slowly? for example, if you want to shrink it to 50%, maybe you could shrink it to 10% first, then another 10%, and then 10%... so on... i think that will resolve a bit of the probelm.
third, don't save the file first. paint is quite poor in saving files, so you get the pixels when you save. the more times you save, the more times you get the pixels...

love these, I hope to see Fossils and I hope I can contribute to this somehow.

about the fossils... i'm struggling a bit on fossils. i don't really follow the themes of game freak by creating "cute-electric-rodent", "psychic-artifact", "regional-bird" .... so, i don't plan about fossils.
but if i come up with something that looks pre-historic, and has a type that is close enough, i'd probably make a couple as my fossils fakemons. as of now, and maybe this dex, there will not be any fossil fakemons. OTZ.
if you'd like to discuss, what do you say about having fossils that doesn't evolve? when i read your comment just now, i thought of having a sabretooth tiger... i don't know, i'm kinda stubburn and i don't want to make stuff that is simply a "chibi to fierce animal evolution"...
i hope you get what i'm talking about here. hahaha. i'd eleborate if you don't.

Yeah I think I understand, the Sabertooth idea of having no evolutions would work, like Aerodactyl which could not evolve and it looked 'Rugged'. I have an Idea on a fakemon based on this[link] I cannot think of an Item to use but I thinking of the types Rock/Steel.

the thing with me is that i'm very reluctant to make fakemons out of <"only" animals + type>. i'd mostly add some more that that in my design unless i know that the idea is popular and that people would be doing them in the future.
as for your dinosaur, in my opinion, it's not famous enough to make a fossil pokemon out of it. i mean, if nintendo were to make fossil pokemons, they won't choose that dinosaur because not a lot of people know about this dinosaur itself. most fossil pokemons that we have today are based off dinosaurs, living fossils and prehistoric animals that are very well known.
as for your dinosaur, though maybe not a fossil, i think it's good to be a fakemon. it looks a bit like a giant sloth, maybe you can play around with the possibilities. : )
