Those are TWO wires, rather than one, correct? If so, the shading does not look so phuked up.

I think the technical skill compliments have already been handed out, all deservingly so. The subject itself is great and filled with connotation. This is one that could evoke a number of different emotions in the viewer. Outstanding.
