I like this one better, I think it has a better feel color wise. I don't really know how to explain it...but this was the one I preferred.

i really do like the look of this. maybe it's cuz the sky is more fluid as far as color goes. it's not trying to do so much? i dunno... i just couldn't quite get the effect that i wanted.

yeah I know how that goes. I think of how I want to edit something but I can never get it the same as in my mind. But sometimes it becomes something even better.
Adjustment layers are my best friend when it comes to photoshop I could hardly function without those little blessings. and I have friends who hate them! I cannot fathom hating adjustment layers. and CS4 rules. :]

I know! I am always so indecisive when it comes to my photo editing, I'm hardly ever content with my photo on the first go around, I am constantly tweaking and subtracting layers that no longer make sense. Adjustment layers just make my life so much easier. Yeah experimentation is the essence of art! Stick with it

i get to play with it whenever i go to the lab at school, which is often cuz i'm in 2 photoshop classes.
unfortunately, i'm usually working on homework when i'm in the lab. it's a tough cookie. as i get better at the more complicated things i'm learning though, i do the assignments quicker and have more time to play.
but ultimately, i want it on my laptop. O.O

yeah having it on my laptop is such a luxary, oh man. I am in one photoshop class right now, and it is kinda of annoying because it is a beginners class[which I was not aware of when I signed up] and I have been using photoshop for about three years now and this is teacher is just teaching the basics. so I just get bored easily in that class. I do what she says but in different less complicated ways and she just kinda gets angry. But I think we have kinda worked it out, I'll talk a lot during critiques and help other people with their stuff. okay done rambling :]

haha, yeah, that can be a problem.
i keep having to fight the urge to do it my way but for the opposite reason. the classes are advanced and i'm more comfortable with my method. but i can also tell that the ways they want me to do it are easier once you get used to them, so i'm workin' on it.
you should try to do it her way though. it's just better for everyone as far as stress and such.
