Description

Dragon cultists of Nekorum nearly ceased to exist at one point in time, as the dragons they were so zealously worshipping perceived them as an exceptional food source.

Nowhere as intelligent as their Elder cousins, newly acquired hatchlings grew quickly, and along with their size, their appetite for flesh grew as well.

As the numbers of cult members dwindled, leaders debated the course of action to rectify the situation.

They agreed that Elder dragons were far too powerful to become simple idols; Gargantuans from the north were impossible to tame; Wish Dragons from the east were not interested in being worshipped, choosing secluded life over mingling with humans. That left cult leaders with only one choice - playful Faerie dragons, favourite mounts of pixies and one of the most lovable elven companions.

Negotiations with elven kingdoms began, and soon after, the steady supply of these adorable tiny beasts filled Nekorum temples to the brim.

Faerie dragons embraced their new position with unparalleled grace; pampered beyond belief, they now spend their days lazily perusing offering piles, blissfully unaware that in the eyes of the cultists they are living, breathing gods.

And perhaps for the better; they *are* dragons, after all!
