Time for a little backstory:
Earlier this week I went to the cinema with my boyfriend to see 'Encanto'.
After the okay-ish sequel to 'Frozen', and very subpar 'Raya', my expectations weren't very high (though 'Luca' gave me hope that it may be at the very least the same level of entertainment).
Let's just say the movie destroyed me, very brutally, by proving me wrong on all levels.
It is an absolute delight, a gorgeous feast both visually and music-wise, and made me cry like a baby during the story's conclusion.
"But Kalabash", I hear you say, "What does that have to do with Pokemon?"
Well, I am a sucker for simple design, as you may know by now. In 'Encanto', the colourful cast of characters have their doors in the house, and these doors are showcasing their individual strenghts.
The designs on them are exactly my kind of art, so I wanted to create something inspired by that style. That's what you're looking at now.
Because what's a better showcase of different abilities than our humble Eevee and its' evolutions?
That's right, people. An obligatory eeveelutions' series.
