Raise hands if this surprised you.
I did this for my friend She wanted me to try and draw the last unicorn for her.
And I thought it would be a good idea to do this scene so I could practice on my backgrounds... >.>
You have no idea how much this killed me to do. I almost give up so many times and made so many mistakes! >.<
Was so not easy. Have I ever said how much I hate backgrounds? lol
Anyway, didn't turn out to bad in the end. ^_^
Done using watercolour, gouache and acrylic. Oh the fun!
The original work belongs to Peter S. Beagle (the writer) and the film was produced by Rankin/Bass for ITC Entertainment and animated by Topcraft. It is intended as an homage to the original artist/writer and his/her work, a piece of fan art, not a disrespect. If the original artist has expressed a desire that fans not copy his/her work, please inform me so I can remove the image myself.
