Help! ive lived with this problem for far too long and its getting impossible to live with

I started with vue 8 frontier, then bought vue 9 esprit and now just recently upgraded to vue 10 studio. Ive had this problem with ALL versions ive had.

The problem is that at random times my screen will start getting full of weird lines as if poligons had been extruded to infinity, this makes all screens very hard to see, ive tried going into wireframe mode and there it also shows the "extruded poligons" at some point in a scene it gets impossible to see what im doing and starts getting too complicated, anyone have had this problem before? or has a clue of how i could fix this?
