i cant colour. i tried a photoshop trial but it ended with me shouting at the computer. it confuses me

here's some tuts i faved[link] check them out, they might help abit. nobody success in their first try, be patience, practise and explore more,u'll find out coloring is quite easy

Ok..So u are the color artist..then I will talk about the colors..1st U did great job on texture..thats not easy..
but..i lose a things..Dept..color dept is inportant..and a becasue is in outdoor..you can add 1 more Side Lighting on them..So they will look more Sharp..Keep it up !!! XD saw ya improvement~

Ive seen this like so long ago, now its finally finished, that overlay tool really works, great use of CG. Looks like it took really long to finish this eh. Awesome piece!

I think yours is better, coz his one is brighter though,but the shadings turns too dark and the colour combinations dont mix well, your glare and the sun works better, also i think his realistic posses kinda needs more work.
I dun know about my posses in a professional view, but i know where my mistake lies because i rush a lot due to shortage of time.

its good u can see ur own flaws, i cant really see my flaws after done my art, will oni realized it a few days later..hehe...but the satisfaction is more important to me, even if its time consuming,i mind the quality.

Well for one thing, he doesnt colour on the outlines of the background. And he leveled his colour using the curve tool i can see, coz theres a split in the tones. And he colours on the lineart to make it really cool, you can do that too. But i think some of the colouring of his characters are too dark. But his eyes are really shiny. Hes a trained artist, but i bet yours is better when you reach his level.Coz you can balance the colours and use the glare well.
im not an expert myself, im not the type to produce very detailed and finalized work, i do wish i had the time to do atleast one masterpiece work,but i got too little time.
