Magnolia, or Maggie, is the newest character from a story of mine inspired by the Mother/Earthbound franchise and drawn in the style of Pen Ward (Adventure Time, Bravest Warriors). It involves the impending end of the world via asteroid and a crash-landed alien's attempt to stop it with the help of a group of kids whose cosmic psionic powers awaken.She's a bit of a blankface. Her psi power is Apathy, the psychic opposite of Empathy, giving her the power to disconnect from reality and effectively become a ghost, allowing such ranged feats as: astral form, astral projection, barriers, and a bit of levitation. She's constantly wearing her nightgown and tends to levitate rather than walk, as she also tends to keep her socks on and doesn't wear shoes. She also likes to sleep, be by herself, and read. Also, she's from Whiteyard, the geographical analogue to the South (specifically based on New Orleans, above-ground cemeteries, and plantations).
End of the world? Not a single fuck was given that doomsday.
