My newest character, Rosaline Baywood the meerkat!

I haven't got a lot of info on her, but she's similar yet opposite to Kaibette. She's spoiled, college-educated, hardworking, responsible, a bit stubborn and a little catty. She also takes great pride in keeping up her appearance-- often she wakes up an hour or two before she leaves for work to exercise, stretch, do her hair, do her makeup, and choose an outfit. She works as an art and literature conservator since her powers naturally lead to it. The outfit shown is just an example of one of her many ones. As long as it's fashionable yet a little sweet (I looked into Korean fashion for this) she'll wear it. Same for her hair. She usually curls it into lose waves and braids some back to keep it out of her face, but she can switch it up as long as it matches the outfit!

Her mom was some sort of major crime lord (Think mafia or gang? haven't quite figured that out yet) and she died when she was 3. No one gave Rosaline the details of the death. Her dad was mostly busy trying to take the place of her mom so he wasn't around often. She lived with her grandma growing up and was completely spoiled since her father felt guilty. She's taken all sorts of classes: singing, dancing (ballet), cooking, baking, music (violin, harp, and flute), and floriculture. She was close to the top of her class in high school and graduated a year early.

During a surprise visit home during her sophomore year of college, she walked into her childhood home to find her grandmother brutally murdered. She'd been dead for at least a little while as she was starting to decompose into the carpet. First thing she did was call her father to come over. He suspected the murder was foul play by a rival group, or maybe a failed kidnapping. Regardless, he advised her to change her name and run, because they might be after her, too. So she did. She does not speak of her previous last name and she's always kept her middle name private. She immediately transferred to a different college and moved. The only way she contacts her dad is by calling on a burner phone or by visiting in person.

She is extremely paranoid because of this. She carries a pistol or some sort of pocket knife with her at all times, especially if she's forced to be out past sunset. She also has pepper spray and a stun gun as back-ups. There are several types of locks on her apartment door, and she installed a deadbolt on her bedroom door should those first locks fail. There are weapons stashed around her home as well. She has reoccurring nightmares about that day but she keeps her emotions about it locked down. As a distraction from the pain she feels, she throws herself into her work. Her schedule is often full for a week or two ahead of time to prevent herself from having to deal with it. She also despises night time and rarely goes out to the bar or clubs because of her fear. (I like to think the first 2 parts of this are her when she's out at night: youtu.be/_BelXM7XL30 )
