Seriously, I wonder why people haven't made this comparison.For context: in the Godzilla vs. Kong novelization, Godzilla (or at least an ancestor of Godzilla named Zo-Zla-Halawa) swallowed "a star", gained the ability to breathe fire (Atomic Breath), and became wicked according to Iwi legend.
In Howl's Moving Castle (the movie at least) Howl as a young boy swallowed a living star which became the Fire Demon, Calcifer.
I just now made the connection
