Cryptid No. 5B: The False/Shades
A truly bizarre sub-cryptid of the mirror ritual. The False can be seen only when participating in the ritual at night hours. They appear as obstacles in the path of said ritual. They can be harmed through sharp objects (i.e. a knife or shard of glass) but only done when close and eyes are shut. If failing the ritual or coming back to the park, a false will follow you and stand out from the rest only you can see. They can take the form of any of the Disney mascots in the Florida park from past to present.

The other name known as "The Shades" was coined after sightings of them on the Discovery Island resort. It seems like they can appear more without the need of the mirror ritual. Instead, these versions take on the Disney mascot appearance but as pitch black, shadowy figures. They appeared when the power grid for the island went out. They seem to be scared of light as they are like shadows of what they take appearance of.
