Thanks to an insanely generous delivery of goods from the Osaka Godzilla Store that my best bud brought to me as he's visiting from Japan, I got my hands on the Godzilla: The Ride figure, which now can be considered a precursor to the Minus One design, as they both have a lot of similarities. "The Ride" version definitely has his own distinguishing characteristics, but you can still definitely see how we got from A to B on this, but even though I've never been blessed to go on the Ride it's a really appealing design to me and the figure is beautifully realized and has a nice wash on it.
