This year of 2023 is the 50th anniversary of Godzilla Vs. Megalon, but additionally it's the same birthday of my favorite Godzilla-adjacent Toho production, Zone Fighter, and I'm hoping to get this little project done in time for Godzilla Fest this upcoming summer. If I can get it done in time for All Monsters Attack in Chicago as well I would like it, but that's gonna be a stretch given my schedule. Doing more humanoid cosplay characters is a lot, lot easier than kaiju costumes, and while I love both it's nice to have cosplay that's a little more lightweight and easier to move around in.
