They are capable of surviving underwater and on land indefinitely though they prefer being underwater. Like Elsa, Alicia, and Dian she survived the destruction of her homeworld hiding in Ocean Zone.

Her partner is a Swimmon who can Digivolve into Neptunemon.

Also yes her name is a reference to Serial Experiments Lain.
