Lurking in the peaceful waters around a tropical speck of land in the south pacific was a kaiju of huge and frightening capabilities, its crimson colored carapace visible even from beneath the waves, this was Ebirah. Ebirah was the 60 meter lobster and watchdog for the Red Bamboo terrorists who kept their indiscriminate guard from killing them as they went too and from the island with a type of yellow fruit juice that the huge beast could not tolerate, this juice would one day be used to keep Ebirah on another isle. Godzilla came to Letchti island in 1966 a day ahead of Mothra who had come to rescue her people who were taken as slaves, and as Godzilla ravaged the base of the terrorists mothra freed her people and they clambered onto her fur as she flew away only to be intercepted by Ebirah. Godzilla seeing Mothra nearly be grabbed several times by the mammoth crustacean went to battle with the beast and ripped both of Ebirah's claws off and Ebirah fled with Godzilla close behind as the island was destroyed by an atomic explosion that would completely crush the delicate sub ocean biosphere thus causing a huge migration of deep sea kaiju into conflict with humans in the future. Ebirah would regrow his massive claws and be driven to monster island in1968.
