Withe defeat and destruction of the Kilaaks by the kaiju of monster island that are now honorary earth defenders, a new threat appeared in 2010, the Leviathan aliens. These were not the super geniuses that the Kilaaks were or the cold calculating fiends of the Xilians and did not go into battle with humanity with some twisted form of justice like the Nebulans, these beings were just plain sloppy and threw together an army of stolen tech and rounded up some new kaiju that had limited control over them and soon found themselves in deep trouble after their eventual defeat but they would have one ace up their sleeve from 1998.
