A mystic being from another time,the Genie was a good being found by some children when his lamp fell off a truck bound for a museum, but Rita Repulsa was onhand to steal the lamp from the children and corrupted the good being and turned it into an evil warrior that was sent to destroy the city but the rangers were quick to arrive and face the Genie, who was so powerful not even the ultime dinosaur god Ultrazord could stop him. So Alpa 5 went and wrestled the lamp away from Squatt and Baboo and placed a seal on the lamp freeing the genie from Rita's power and fixing the damage he had done. The Genie would become a powerful ally to the Rangers and of Godzilla and would rise to aid them several times.
