Also, I kinda have to wonder about the whole structure, because, yeah, I just find the head too big.

I s'pose' it's because it's based on a Dunkleostus(?), an ancient fish.
Fish tend to have heads that are as large as their bodies, as there is no neck or anything like that. Not sure how to explain it, but that's the best I can do.
