Awesome! I Like Your Redesign Of Showa Godzilla, You Can Still Tell It's Him Even Though He Looks A Little Diffrent Than What He Originally Looked Like...Which Was A Frog...

Not much like the Toho movie about Godzilla battling Hedorah, but it looks good in a more Astro Zombies way.

Very nice. I like how you managed to capture godzilla's retro-appearance and still make it look reasonable.

oh now this is a BADASS redo of a classic scene! Great job! I like how ya based Godzilla off his look from the movie only made him more fierce looking and Hedorah looks epic as well! Ya even managed to get those two hippies in thar XD
Wish I could go to New Mexico this weekend but can't, so have a fun at the signing

Matt, you've done it again!!!
Excellent work on, well, everything!
I particularly love "Godzilla Vs. Hedorah" as one of my favorites in the series.
I know some will disagree with me, but it is certainly not as well appreciated as it should be.

I agree with you as well, I just can't get over how much Hedorah scared the living piss out of me when I was a kid, and even now I can't get over how freaky he looks. He gives me chills. *Shudder*

Yeah, Hedorah is scary and awesome!
And those eyes don't help making him less scary, which is the way I like it!!! XD

Definitely, Hedorah was, and still is, the only TV monster to have actually SCARED me. Not startled me, or given me a short jolt, I was terrified of the way he looked, those big, bright, lopsided eyes on that dark, almost malformed humanoid body, that's the stuff nightmares are made of for me. Toho definitely succeeded in making that thing horrifying. The fact that it looks so humanoid when it was inadvertently made by humans makes it all the more frightening. Scary stuff, man. But definitely one of their best.

And yet, the kitten went unharmed!
My father still hasnt gotten over that lol. I was five when I first saw that movie, and I was okay with Hedorah killing people...so long as the kitten survived!

I'm gonna come clean, I never watched the movie the entire way through. When I was young, I couldn't watch it cause it scared the piss out of me. Since then I never decided to pick it back up. I'll have to find it on the internet sometime.

Good luck hon!
Itβs tough conquering a childhood fear. I had a run-in with a flaming moth (and I mean that literally, the thing was on fire!) when I was four and have been freaked out by moths ever since. I forced myself to spend hours in a moth/butterfly sanctuary to overcome it. Iβm better than I was but not totally cured.
If I were you, Iβd try to just get at least ten minutes further into the film then youβve ever gotten before. That would be a good start.

I must say that your take on Showa Godzilla is very intriguing xD And you did something that I only wish Toho could have done with Hedorah, and that's make him bigger and more bad the more pollution he absorbs. Epic job as always, Matt
btw, I'll try to note ya with the ideas I talked about yesterday once I can find them in my sea of documents

I don't think Toho gave Hedorah enough credit. What if his origin involved micro-orgasims at feast on pollution ( Sort of like Destroyah involving mircro-organisms). They could have made a Godzilla-like creature with Headorah's tail, feet, and arms with a Godzilla like body but Hedorah skin. Be cool !
