Nice! This needs to be a movie or a comic or something. This just needs to happen. Godzilla vs Nemesis.

Huh........ that thinner version of Godzilla you got there looks awfully similar to how I envisioned a character who happens to be the daughter of the version of Godzilla in my own series I'm currently writing.

Can somebody please, please make this into a movie in the future. I would love to see this with all my heart as a kaiju fan. A battle between the King of Monsters and the Goddess of Vengeance would truly be a battle of the ages.

Nothing gives me joy to see two kaiju duking it out for no apparent reason, just to entertain the heck out of us.

Gosh darnit all I wanna read both the comic and actual book! I've been looking for a free audiobook for this but all the ones I find I have to pay, and I'm a starving student!
This artwork is great, btw! And just because your claws are huge, Nemmie, doesn't mean you're piercing the formidable hide of Goji.

Godzilla's been cut before, though. Showa Godzilla was sliced up by Gigan to the point that he bled; Godzilla 2000 (which this appears to be) got shot with those hypodermic missile things that went through him like "crap through a goose"... or at least managed to obtain tissue samples; and Godzilla 2014 was busted up pretty badly by the MUTOs.Β
So, would Nemmy's claws and fangs piece Godzilla's hide? Probably. Would they do any lasting damage? Probably not.Β

Yes, someone who can take missiles directly to their face, survive in lava, but got killed by killer bubbles, he's pretty tough but not invulnerable. Still, it takes a lot to break skin. Gigan has a BUZZSAW on his chest, so he'd most likely go through anything.
Still, I think it'll take more than claws to pierce that hide

Like I said, looking at G2K, those missiles in Godzilla 2000 did a pretty good job. Plus, Orga was able to injure him, but his healing factor was potent enough to negate it.

well she is immune to fire. in fact one of her tactics is bsaically igniting herself.

More like setting off a point-blank nuke. Β
If by "fire" you're referring to Godzilla's Atomic Breath, it's a lotΒ bit more intense than that, and has been since the Heisei era.Β

perhaps, but it is still heat ultimately. so it is unlikely to hurt.
honestly i would give the advantage to the nemesis monster here. their fiery methods are ineffective against each other, but nemesis both has better natural weapons and physiology than godzilla.
if we were talking about the 2014 design however, it would be another story. has better physiology than godzilla does and, being both large and muscular and far more maneuverable than the typical godzilla design. and it is clearly a beastie that knows how to throw its weight around. how to position himself to be able to overpower his opponent/prey.

Plasma is more than just heat, though, and Godzilla's adds intense radiation to the mix.
While 2014 Godzilla is bigger and bulkier, he also has a blatant weak spot: his gills. Plus, I can't exactly picture himΒ dropkicking his enemies by sliding on his tail (Ah, classic Showa...) or leaping 300 + meters into the air to body slam his opponents.

Lordoffantasy In reply to VovinaArt [2015-10-01 17:59:37 +0000 UTC]
since when was kaiju explicitlyΒ vulnerable to radiation
and that is because he doesn't need to use some cartoony nonsense to in a fight. he knows where to grab and where to push and hwere to rip and tear.
that is kinda a feature i noticed in that movie too. while not specifically human in nature, the kaiju all displyed a considerable bit of intelligence. almost simian in nature. the flying one figured out how to escape its confinement. and when godzilla collided with the female it knew to grab its opponent's throat allow it to overpower it. godzilla we normally know would have just bluntly collided.

Nobody ever nukes Nemesis, so we don't know if/how radiation would affect her.Β

Nemesis herself never gets nuked, but Geiger tanked a nuke in Project Hyperion and didn't seem too bothered by it.
