Two distinct archetypes merged into one. I like. Especially the bizarre way they're blended. She has reptilian qualities, but she's not explicitly a reptile. She's humanoid, with henshin hero tropes, but is clearly a monster. It's so much more than the sum of its parts.

Yep! Well, Matt did the drawing of course. But I presented the base character concept to Simon and Matt, with some freedom and flexibility, and the three of us collaborated over Skype and massaged it into Mara/DragonLotus. Perhaps co-creator is equally valid, but as far as one can be said to 'own' a character, I own DragonLotus. Sunstone has exclusive rights to use the character in video games and related advertising and such, by contract. It's been great fun so far!

1) Thanks! I hope she makes it into the game. I suspect she'll get shuffled off to the 2nd release, for story reasons.
2) Drop him a note on the 'boards at sunstonegames.com to get his Skype. I don't feel comfortable handing it out w/o permission. >.>
