Day 6, almost a week into October and Kaijutober, and tonight’s original Kaiju is another hybrid, one that’s a blend of two different species from two different times: The Dimetrodon from the Permian Period and the Tyrannosaurus Rex from the Cretaceous Period. Even the name of the Kaiju, “Dimetro-Rex” is a play on the the words T-rex, but now it’s technically “D-rex”. This Kaiju is probably the most Ray HarryHausen of the bunch, as it’s a mix of different dinosaur and reptiles species, as well as having that classic upright posture from stop motion Dinosaur movies like Gwangi, King Kong (1933), 20 million miles to earth etc. so yeah, this guy is a homage to old school Dinosaur creature designs. Again, haven’t given it a backstory, but the mode itself is nearly seven yrs old, or at least the pipe cleaner material used to make it is nearly that old, so to improve it, I added a whole new look from 2018, with new Pipecleaners and here’s what you see today. He’s also the Godzilla 1964 of all the Kaiju I’ve made.Name: Dimetro-Rex
