Description
A monster design I did for a film I have in preproduction. Trying to for a style similar to Baragon or Varan from the Toho films or Neronga and Gabora from the Ultra Series. Name is very much inspired by Neronga too, and is derived from King Minos of Crete the same way Neronga's name is derived from Emperor Nero Claudius.

Minonga has a mane of ribbon-like tendrils similar to those of Zeruel from EVANGELION (14th Angel in NGE; 10th Angel in the Rebuilds). They can flatten out into the aforementioned ribbon-like form referred to as "Cape Formation", or they can wrap around themselves into a more spear-like form which is named accordingly, and while like this, they can coil up similar to a pig's tail and spin to build up energy for a beam attack.
Mouth only open for said beam attack, as it acts more like a rail-cannon than a traditional kaiju "fire-breath" attack. Whenever it roars, steam blows out of the ribbed vents on the side of it's head.
