Wow, this didn't take near as long to finish as I thought it would. Well, digitally, at least. I decided to start off with drawing Dr. N.Tropy first because his design was easiest and I already had a scene planned out for him. Plus, I wanted an excuse to play around with his new freckles. I like freckles, I'm sorry. I actually wanted to add some freckles on his shoulders to play around with that some, but decided against it. When I originally played Crash Bandicoot: Warped, like when I was six or seven, Tropy was one of three characters that kinda scared me, Dingodile and Uka Uka being the other two. It was mainly his expression that scares me most. With the remaster, he's not so bad. Especially since he has freckles and a light five o'clock shadow. I figured that, since he probably likes to visit other time periods during his time off (ha, time pun), he might actually grow out a full beard in preparation to visit a medieval period. In this case, Medievil Gallowmere, where he finds Agatha being attacked by wolves, hence the healing. March 2, 2014, during another mission in Kingdom Hearts realms to identify a strange rift, he encounters a similarly appearing Toa Summer under the same circumstances, this time in the tundra plains of Skyrim. While looking around for references of Tropy, I've noticed that a lot of artists on deviantart have used almost the exact same hairstyle for him when drawing him without armor, so I just went with this style. For the outfit, I just went with something simple, like a tank top. In the bottom half, you can see the scar from their previous encounter. The outfit I went with for Toa Summer was a set of black colored vampire armor, and the female variation of this armor actually looks like that. It was actually a lot easier to draw than I expected. It was pretty fun messing around with N.Tropy's design. And the different healing magic, while also realizing that I accidentally colored the top magic effect the same color as the magic used by the Nightsisters in the Star Wars franchise. Accidental foreshadowing? Oh well, but I do hope to draw some of the other characters, maybe with the other Toa. We'll see what happens.
