This is a really interesting new way of depicting Ho-oh that I have not seen before. The choice to not include color is a new way of looking at its design, letting us see the shape of the pokemon. The title also makes you think more about Ho-oh's role as a legendary pokemon.
I love the black-and-white style of this piece, along with the paper-folding feel. The composition is great, drawing your eye to Ho-oh's eye. I do find the tail distracting, though - It's quite striking and also on a point of interest. I'd suggest making it slightly less dark.
