Description

His fight against Erza ended different. After he saw Erza's strenght, he realises that there can be stronger Fairy Tail members than her. He lost on purpose, he tells Erza about Hades' plan like in the canon and uses his remaining magic to build a new Tenrou Tree (this is the moment that Erza knows that he wasn't using his full power which she could've been killed if that happened). Azuma couldn't kill Hades and Grimoire Heart because he's out of strenght at that moment, which he left Tenrou Island.

After studying the other Dark Guilds that are close to Grimoire Heart, he went to every Dark Guild to know Grimoire Heart's whereabouts because he wants to take revenge on that guild for ruining his life, which he's going to hunt every member of that guild.

NOTE: Meredy was not a target of Azuma because she's a newcomer until she protects Ultear.
