Description
TERRITORIES:A: Ice Empire
Ice Empire territory encompasses the largest amount of land inhabited by the Empires. What isn't mountain is home to large open plains covered by thick, short grasses. Rocks litter the landscape and trees are sparse but what little tree cover is available is made up of mostly pines and birch. Temperatures here tend to stay cooler than other territories and snow storms can occur well up into the Spring season. Lakes and streams are plentiful though so water is never a problem for cats of this Empire.

B: Air Empire
Air Empire is made up of wide open plains full of tall prairie grasses and rocky cliffs. Trees are more common here than in Ice Empire but they don't dominant the landscape. Winter's can be harsh with a lot of deep snow, but summer's are long and warm. The wind tends to blow here a lot more than other territories.

C: Lightning Empire
To the north, where Lightning Empire's border meets Air Empire, wide prairies spread across the landscape and patches of trees dot here and there. However, farther south towards Fire Empire, dense forests take over. Prey is widely distributed among this territory so the cats of this Empire are always well fed. It's been noted that it rains often during the spring season here and thunderstorms are common, especially to the east.
D: Fire Empire
Fire Empire takes up the lands to the south east. Large forests spread across the lands here, however, they're not as thickly packed as in Shadow Empire. Summer's are long and hot here often leading to drought and wild fires during this season. Winters are very mild but small snows do occur sometimes.

E: Shadow Empire
Shadow Empire's territory is is the closest to the human city to the west and is made up of very thick forests. Because of the density of the trees here, a majority of the sunlight is filtered by the leaves so only a dim light reaches the understory where the Empire cats roam. Many of the cats have adapted to the darkness though and learned that it provides excellent cover. However, the ground tends to stay wet here longer.
F: Neutral Grounds
Neutral grounds that don't belong to any of the Empires. For some strange reason, Bounty Hunters don't seem to tread these grounds either. Moonlight Coliseum is located within its boundaries.
G: Human/Bounty Hunter Lands
The lands that immediately border the ocean to the west belong to the Humans and their Bounty Hunter companions. For an Empire cat, stepping paw on these grounds can mean certain death and many make sure to keep their distance. The territory here is low laying and well drained, made up of swampy marshes and sandy soils.
NUMBERS:
1: Crater Lake
A large lake buried deep within Ice Empire territory. It wasn't formed by an actual meteorite but the mountains surrounding it make it appear that way. It's well sheltered from the sun and tends to hold water even after many of the other streams have went dry. It's a good source of prey for those of Ice Empire
2: Barren Lands
The far eastern portion of Ice Empire. These lands seem to offer little and the terrain is rocky with little to no bush cover. Frequent bear and wolf sightings here have caused Empire cats to stay away.
3: Turtle Rock
A giant rock that's shaped like...a turtle! It forms the northern/southern border between Air and Ice Empires at the river's fork.
4: Fishing Stones
A group of large stones set out in the middle of the river's mouth. It's used as a tactical spot for catching fish just before they escape into Deep-water Lake, but it also hosts a large population of various birds as well. It's often disputed which Empire owns Fishing Stones, but they currently belong to Air Empire.
5: Lightning Fields
This portion of territory is the reason why Lightning Empire has its name. Lightning strikes here often during thunderstorms and can become a dangerous place for any Empire cat caught here. When it isn't storming, it's a good place to hunt deer.
6: Deep-water Lake
A large lake in between Air and Lightning Empire. There's a deep under water canyon here that feeds into a series of underwater caverns. Despite it's size, it's not uncommon for this lake to run dry during unusually harsh summers due to these underground caves. However, when this happens, Empire cats are able to access the caverns for a short time until the fall rains raise water levels again.
7: Moonlight Coliseum
Once a month, by the light of the full moon, the Empire's gather in an old abandoned coliseum for a meeting. Here, the leader's announce recent events and happenings to the cats of all Empires. Moonlight Coliseum is located on neutral grounds and, besides friendly sparring matches, no fighting is expected to take place here.
8: Center Woods
A highly contested border between Shadow, Lightning and Fire Empires.
9: The Lowlands
An area of low laying lands just outside the human city that act as a "meeting place" for Bounty Hunters. It was nicknamed "The Lowlands" by Empire Cats because of it's close proximity to the ocean.
10: Human City
The human's here know cats from all around have escaped various places and have gathered in the territories just outside their city. They take pleasure in capturing or killing these felines and returning them to their original owners for large profits. The Bounty Hunters the humans use to help them capture wanted Empire cats also live here and are treated like deity.
11: Lake Blackwater
A lake hidden deep within the dark forests of Shadow Empire. Instead of crystal blue, the water is said to be pitch black here but cats from Shadow Empire don't seem to mind. It serves as a good hunting spot for rodents and turtles. (It's colored the same as the other points of water on the map to avoid confusion. :3)
12: Old Oak
A huge ancient oak tree that serves as a border marker between Shadow and Lightning Empires. It's said an old and grumpy owl lives here that hunts in the surrounding territories at night. He can be quite the nuisance for night border patrols.

Finally! Here's a general map of the territories for EBC. Hopefully we'll have more detailed individual territory maps for each empire up soon but for now, use this as a general guide.
(This map is official and cancels out anything I've said before about territories!)

Where/how did you generate this, or is it hand-drawn with computer touch-ups?
