Before you ask, no Tene isn't a new character. c: I've had him for over a year now but I've never given the guy a proper ref. D: I don't see how though! He's an amazing cheetah! <3I mostly draw him as a cub, but I've added an adult ref because he's technically old enough to be full grown now!
Also added a family tree because most of my cheetah characters are related in one way or other. Older pics of Tene:

Very nice. I like the texture, too.
What software do you use to do the drawing? I have a tablet but find PS a little fuzzy to use right and the pen tool hard to use.

I used Photoshop Elements 5.0 and I draw everything by hand, even lineart. Drawing strictly digital does take a little practice. My version of PS doesn't have the pen tool, but I've found it hard to use when I've tried it out on the newer versions too. xD That's why I just use the brush tool and line everything by hand.

What I'd want to see is a more intuitive pen tool. I'd move to vector if I could understand Illustrator.
For instance, I'd love to have The World of River Cats in vector format, but I used the brush tool.
