Look in the mirror......and you will see your other self. Evil lies naked within all of us, we just have to pay attention to it. Many a times we are quick to point out the flaws of others, but remain ignorant of our own actions. More often than not we choose to neglect reflecting upon ourselves.
So is evil really that far off?
If we do not keep it in check it will eventually taint and consume us whole. Thus it is a constant battle of good vs evil.

I'm bad at expressing things figuratively, so i went for the straight ball.
- Angelic and demonic side, well you get the drift. Straight forward enough.
- Almost naked demonic side, represents that evil lies naked within ourselves.
- Closed eyes for the angel side to represent ignorance.
- Tendril like things swirling around the connected palms represents the taint creeping in.
cliche....but i hope i get my message across clear enough ^^ ;;

It's a very enchanting piece! The Angel seems to be almost struggling to remain ignorant and the Demon seems quite content to know that it will always have a chance to show the darker side of humanity!

I can honestly say that I totally love this! I love the concept, and the way the black vine things are wrapping around her fingers *sigh*, it's a beautiful way to foreshadow in a piece of art!

It's beautiful artwork. The angel is quite endearing, but the demon shows just how horrible we really are. I know how much I think of others as bad, but I definitely now that I, myself, have too many flaws to count. attitude, bad behavior (not in class, though), personality itself, lots of things.
The shading and colours definitely make everything profound in this picture. keep up the excellent work!

It's wonderful. I love the thought you put into how evil should be betrayed, leaving open a few of the deadly sins that could be interprested there. Nakedness for lust, the beauty and smile for vanity, and that supriour smirk has definitely got to be pride. Wonderful job.
