Though greatly respected throughout time and the reaches of the world, it's scarcely understood what oracles endure to use their prophetic abilities. They are secretly one of the most mentally disturbed beings ever known.

Peythea is an older oracle, among the first 10 to ever exist. However, she was one of the least popular. Unlike most of her kind, she still retains a flicker of will within herself. She uses it to bring some discretion to her prophecies, speaking in cryptic metaphors and sometimes completely lying about whatever she sees. It's entirely for the sake of the individual, wanting to steer them to the most ideal or virtuous path in spite of her reputation.

Having a limited mind shattered by future sight, she attracted the attention of a vengeful spirit. Showing favor to those whose minds are broken, the spirit brought her to a large, ornate manor. Peythea could live without worry of anyone's requests for prophecies, or any who wish her to face justice for her dishonesty.

As for her new friend, she knows what must take place for the best outcome.
