So, it's been a while since I made a new OC, huh? Well, I actually didn't WANT to make more of them, since I barely draw more than Chisa and occasionally Symphonia but then I found out about the best damn thing ever. So, I played Hollow Knight forever ago, and remembered the strange red bodied lady who is munching on some Fungus just above your head and thought she was just invented for that game. BUT NO! I found out when watching someone playing the game with an artistically critical eye that Giraffe Weevils are a real thing, in Madagascar, which is practically like Africa's Australia as far as Biodiversity goes. >>;

Either way, I just HAD to make one into a character, and have decided that even though she is just one here, she's part of a race and culture of Giraffe Weevils that have a society very much like the African/Asian area with the neck-extension rings and stuff. Yeah. >>; Look, I'm not an anthropologist, I just know what I like and what I like to make stuff about. She is a resident of Symphonia's World, Planet Lectrika. Her village is about 500 KM from the hostile desert on Symphonia's world where the Desert Nagas live, though she lives in a rainforest area. The Roderick family specifically specializes in making the neck rings used to extend their necks upward, which is considered attractive to them, and other jewelry adornments for the villagers and people from aboard, though they have only just started to have a Tourist boon on Lectrika, as the planet has only recently discovered means of traveling further than the outskirts of one's village in the means of airplanes or cars. She also is reasonably short for her race, which seems to be a thing for me when I make characters on Lectrika, with the average height for women and men being somewhere in the 12 foot range. In her case, though, it is not due to malnutrition or anything devastating, it's actually due to a distant relative being a Desert Naga in her immediate family line, who tend to be a little bit shorter. It also explains her more Northern, if not outright Europeanesque last name. This comes in handy mainly to help the Roderick family line to generate fires hot enough to mold steel with only the bare minimum of technology.
