Description
I'm back now!Sry, I had to much to do in the last months... And when I had time, I couldn't draw as I expected (so I've done a little art break
This is a little coloring tutorial for line art. I think it could be also useful if you want to make a simple base. This is shown in eight little steps which (I hope) you can follow easily.
First of all:
1. Draw a sketch. It could be better If you use a different color than black. I've chosen a red color for this example, but it can also be green, blue, pink, purple, brown, etc.
2. create a new layer and draw the lines.
3. Check if the lines fits great without the sketchlines (it always happen to me that it looks strange without them o_O )
4. Make another new layer and color it (be careful with white and black. If you prefer a white fur, you should take a bit darker shade and a lighter one for black. So that it's a bit more gray.)
5. A new layer for the shading
6. This step is optional. If you want you can make an extra layer for light effects (I made some white strings and changed the mode from 'normal' to 'luminosity'. It's also a clipping group.)
7. Create a new layer and put it under the shading layer. There you can add some markings.
8. this step is also optional, but if you want, you can choose another outline (It's easy to change it in Sai with a clipping group. I love to work with them xP )
I wish you good luck (:
