My new gem "squad"! I do have an issue with scrapping/replacing characters, don't I? Too bad.
I know they aren't exactly the most creative, in terms of which gems I picked, but I love them all anyway.

A wee bit about them (I'll probably draw them again, since I'm RPing with some homies, so more info later)

Rose Quartz:
Nicknames: Rose, Rosie
Gem Location: Back of neck

Rosie's the sort of "leader" to these misfits. She's the strongest and one of the oldest. She was loyal to Homeworld during the war, but became a fugitive after refusing to be bubbled with all of her kin. She's been stuck on earth since.

Pearl:
Nicknames: Peary, Druzy
Gem Location: Right Wrist

Made for a Moonstone back on Homeworld, Druzy was a bit botched. Her pearl came out more pear-shaped than spherical, resulting in a projected form that doesn't line up with other pearls. Druzy was set to be shattered immediately, but was rescued by an escaping Laz and Rosie. She likes earth because she's free to do mostly what she wants, wear what she wants and be who she wants. She's never served under anyone before, and is the youngest member of the group.

Lapis Lazuli:
Nicknames: Laz, Lazzy, Blue
Gem Location: Chest

Laz is a low-ranking gem from Homeworld. He didn't fight in the war, despite his affections for the rebels. He hates violence and can be considered a bit wimpy, which is why he kept his nose down instead of striking out. He fled to earth with Rosie and Druzy after the war was over, elated to finally lose the skirt and stop sucking up to "her" Diamond.

Black Sapphire:
Nacknames: Sapph
Gem Location: Tongue

The downer of the group. Sapphire is always standing by with cold facts and snarky retorts. She's the oldest, with a massive, well-filed memory to pair with her future vision. A grumpy pessimist who's quite good at what she does, no one's entirely sure how she ended up on earth. She's also extremely narcissistic and never hesitates to call her fellow gems idiots, or worse.

Ruby:
Nicknames: Fire ball, Tyke, Rubels
Gem Location: Back of left thigh

Ruby is the over-eager fighter of the group. She's always ready to fight, even when fighting won't solve anything. Her and Sapphire are extremely hostile towards each other most of the time, though they showed up together. She can be a good friend, but it's not difficult to fire her up, so it's often best to be wary of her. Rosie has now worries going against her, though, since she's so small. Still, she always fights for what she believes, even if she knows she's going to lose.
