Apparently the spiral matches some sequence that actually works spectacularly with the photo and there is NO way I'm spending hours in Photoshop on one photo. I would die >.>

I hate hot weather, I hate the sun, I hate hot weather, I hate the bugs, I hate hot weather, I hate outside, I hate hot weather, I'm not a people person, and apparently summer brings people together.

Well.. where I live, winter is generally 8 months of the year. No kidding. So summer is my much welcomed break from the snow and the cold..

Northern Minnesota. I'm enjoying our literally two weeks of summer before it's gone

I'm higher up than you are, and we have more than two weeks of summer. About two months before weather starts changing.
I'm confused.
Not only that, but Northern Minnesota is by water, and water has a natural heat capacity, that would make your climate hotter than ours.

What's the coldest it gets? What's the hottest it gets?

But my point is that I enjoy the hot weather because we generally don't see it here. Not that you should love it, too.
Where I live now (northern MN) it goes from in the 90's at the hottest to -40some at the lowest. In southern MN it was more like 115 at hottest to -20 at coldest.

this is so simple, yet is so amazing! Very creative idea!

Beautiful! It's so simple, yet so creative! I'm in love with this, but I'm not too keen on the background and the tip of the pencil. The background catches my eye more since it contrasts so much, and the pencil's tip looks like it needs to be sharpened, then to be worn out on the opposite side; it just doesn't look it's being used in a totally natural way.
But ignoring what I just said, I still love this!

Haha well.. I made the photo specifically for a 'black and yellow' theme. So the background is intentional. As for the pencil.. I don't own a pencil sharpener

I set the photo up as you see, then took the contrast out of the center of the flowers and erased a spiral on that layer.
