At night in my bedI dreamed
I dreamed dangerously
A dream that consumes
With blindness and beasts
I dreamed with fear
Fear for myself and friends
Running
In no one direction
Adrenaline
Pumping when nothing becomes something
At night in my bed
I dreamed like
I knew in my heart
The Perils
Of what lie ahead
For myself and friends
And then the light came
Bright, pulsating, soothing
Beckoning
Me to open my eyes
I awakened
And I realized
That in the end
We would all be safe.
