i think personally, there are some great arts that moves your mind inside and gives joy and thrill to
your heart with BIG impresions more than just your eyes does(don't get me wrong, i think your style is
the bestest) and i personally think thats the definition of a great art.

What I like the most about this is how different it is from other Tavros/Gamzee fanart. While everyone is drawing shipping pics and silly comics (and don't get me wrong, I love those to death), this piece captures a different side of these characters.
I love Tavros's quiet, deep concentration and how he's portrayed here, being in very serious thought. This screams boldness and the determination to move on, possibly after his accident and coming to terms with it, realizing that he has an uphill battle ahead of him but he resolves to not let his spirit be broken.
Gamzee, on the other hand seems nervous of this new side of his friend, possibly a little intimidated by it as well. He understands Tavros's need to reflect and grow from his ordeal but also saddened at how this has changed him. Gamzee knows he'll never go back to what he once was after this and it makes him miss the more innocent days of their friendship. He feels that he's loosing his friend and that he's pulling away and he feels helpless watching him drift out of reach. Possibly for good.
The position of the characters is great. Tavros is looking ahead, pondering his future. He doesn't even seem to acknowledge Gamzee is there. Gamzee is watching him in silence. He doesn't touch him as he passes. He doesn't offer comfort. He keeps his head down and remains silent. Because he knows Tavros would not like to know he is being pitied. So Gamzee says nothing and waits for his friend to need him again.
The dark shapes that make up their location contrasted with the sharp bright light help set a tonality. Gamzee and Tavros are in the dark; somber, confused and unsure of the future but the light offers hope and healing for them both.
Overall, a wonderful and refreshing piece of fanart!

And yes, there's almost nothing left of the goofy shy boy Tavros used to be and who Gamzee knew. I suspect that the latter is actually scared from the new Tavros, weirded out by his concentrated stare and stiff position.
If I might contribute to your thoughts on the picture- the composition is very good: Gamzee is in darker tones, directly behind Tavros, pressed to the wall, just like a shadow from his past.

I really love how portrayed their expressions. It's sort of a switch of character and I love it. Gamzee looks somewhat timid and frightened, while Tavros looks serious and in thought. Great job!
