well our chinese system is that it changes every twelve years, and every year represents an animal. the order goes like this: rat, ox/cow, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, chicken, dog, pig (:

yup, the vietnamese zodiac is practically the same if we had the rabbit instead of the cat, then it would be identical. Vietnam is greatly influenced by China culture because China colonized Vietnam hundreds of years ago, that's why there are so many things alike dealing with culture.
but i still don't know why one is a cat and the other is a rabbit though

yepp (: it's actually quite a big year because it's exactly 2000 (2 millennium) plus 12 years (a whole animal cycle), and also its the symbol for the chinese king (: Dragons are reallllllyy important because they fly in the skyyyy and nobody can reach them except for the king. if anyone was seen with even a tiny dragon on their clothing, they'd be killed D:... so yeah (:

well, tbh, compared to China, its better in hong kong...in china, i'd be put to jail if anyone saw this.. but anyways, its because in china there's the one child policy (one family can only bear one child), anything about rebellion or previous revolution or anything about it prohibited to be spoken in china (even google is filtered), so basically china = no freedom, hk = freedom D:<
