Description
It has been mentioned that I need to practise using heavier shading and contrast, so I decided to try to work on both in this drawing (Which was originally going to be a quick drawing with simple soft shading as I am not very successful when attempting soft shading... And resulted in a 7+ hour project with an attempt at full shading and lighting). There are obviously areas that need more work, such as detailed shading on the legs,arms and eyes, and both shading and lighting on the hair, however I am overall happy with this, considering that it was my first attempt at a fully finished and lined character using soft shading with highlights. I am not sure whether there is an issue with the arm in full view.
