Rarity: *Sighs and gives her daughter a nuzzle on the cheek* I will pick you up after school later, darling. Alright?

*Later, Cheerilee enters the schoolhouse and everypony went silent*

Cheerilee: Class, today we have a new student joining us today. *She looked over at Hope* Come on up, sweetheart and introduce yourself

Hope: *Walks up to the front of the class and looks over at everypony* Greetings. My name is Hope Diamond, and I'm from Canterlot.

Hope: *Turns to her cutie mark and shows it off* I got it after winning my first pageant.

*After telling a little more about herself, Hope sat down on her desk, and class began. After class, a young filly approached her desk. She was certainly different looking than the other foals, with two different types of wings, and a lion paw and eagle talon*

Hope: Can I help you? *raises eyebrow*

Miracle: U-um...I would like to welcome to Ponyville, M-my name is Miracle. And I hope we can be good friends

Hope: *Scowls* Like I would ever be friends with a pony like you! *She gets up and walks out to the school yard*

Miracle: *Frowns* O-oh ok...

*Hope sits under a tree, watching the other foals play. Suddenly, two fillies approached her. One was an earth pony, and the other was a unicorn*

???: Mind if we sit with you?

Hope: Go ahead

*The two fillies sit with her, suddenly, the unicorn puts a hoof to Hope's mane*

???: OMG! Your mane is so fabulous! Who's your stylist?!

Hope: Um...my mother?

???: Pearl please!

Pearl:...*Removes her hoof*

???: Anyways, your name is Hope Diamond, correct?

Hope: Yes, that is correct

Ruby: My name is Ruby Necklace, and this is my best friend Pretty Pearl.

Pearl: Hi

Ruby: We just saw how lonely you are, and we were wondering if you wanted to be friends?

Hope: Friends huh...Sure

Ruby: Great! I'm having a slumber party this weekend and you are invited~

Hope: Oh, sounds like fun!

Ruby: Every filly in school is invited...everypony except her!

*Ruby points to Miracle, who was sitting in the garden, smelling the flowers around her*

Pearl: Ugh, what a weirdo

Hope: Yeah, why does she look like that anyways?

Ruby: Her dad is the Lord of Chaos, and he looks like a bigger mess.

Pearl: And that mane is such a mess!

*All of the foals head inside for the rest of class. For the rest of the week, Hope has been hanging out with Ruby and Pearl, making fun of Miracle behind her back, until Friday came*

Hope: I'm so excited for your slumber party tonight!

Ruby: I know! It's gonna be totes awesome! I even got Songbird Serenade's newest album~

Hope: Songbird Serenade?! My mother and I usually listen to Sapphire Shores

Ruby: *squints* Sapphire Shores is so last season

Pearl: I don't know, I think she's-

Ruby: *Glares at Pearl, and she goes quiet*

Pearl: Look over there! *she points to Miracle, who was playing with a bunny* Is she gonna eat that bunny!?

Hope: But, she's just playing with that bunny. She's not doing anything bad

*Ruby and Pearl walked over to Miracle, with Hope following slowly behind*

Miracle: O-oh, hello Ruby Necklace and Pretty Pearl.

Ruby: Save it! Why don't you go back to where you belong?!

Miracle: H-home?

Ruby: No, the zoo!

*Ruby and Pearl laughed, as Hope stayed silent.*

Miracle: T-that wasn't very nice...

Pearl: Not as much as that dreadful mane of yours! Just look at it!

Miracle: *Looks down in shame*

Hope: Ok, you two can stop now

Ruby: No way, if anything! She should be turned to stone like her dad!

*Hope was mad now. She stood infront of Miracle and glared at the two fillies*

Hope: I said that's enough! Leave her alone!

Pearl: But she's a weird freak!

Hope: Just because somepony looks different, doesn't mean their different on the inside.

Ruby: Hope, stop defending that loser and come back to us! Or your not invited to my slumber party

Hope: I rather not hang out with a bunch of trolls

*Both of the fillies gasped*

Ruby: Take. It. Back.

Hope: Never

Ruby: Fine! Then you and the freakazoid can be besties from now on! Don't even bother talking to us from now on. Lets go, Pearl

*Ruby and Pearl walk away*

Hope: *Turns to Miracle* Are you alright?

Miracle: *She nods* You didn't have to help me...And now you lost your friends

Hope: Those girls? Please, they were nothing but bullies...So um...is that friend offer still open?

Miracle: *Gasps and nods with a huge smile on her face*

Hope: So..would you like to have a slumber party tonight?

Miracle: I'd have to ask my mom first, but sure!

Hope: Great! My mother has a collection of Sapphire Shores' albums that we can listen to!

*From that day forward, Hope Diamond and Miracle became the best of friends*
