Bzzzz, bzzz, bzzzz. Alder enjoyed spending time with the bees, learning how they flew. His own transparent wings, a scientific creation, so like their own. His hummed more than buzzed, but the sound was similar.

A tap on his shoulder. He whirled around, but there was nothing there. Another tap, the opposite shoulder. He hissed in annoyance. Still nothing there. He looked in all directions, annoyed at the intrusion. He liked being left to his thoughts, liked the sound the bees made. He liked practicing flying with them, in the fields, away from everyone else.

Another touch. He growled. There was a muffled laugh in return. Finally, something! A feather, grape in color, He bit at it, but the owner of the feather pulled it back to fast for him.

“You’re slow. Must be the bees in your brain.”

Alder turned, and this time there was something there. A Vexxil, feathered, with bull horns and a whip tail. Wearing an annoying grin.

The albino’s tail lashed. “Go away. I’m busy.”

“Yes, watching bees. Sooo busy.” Another touch. Alder’s tail lashed.

Alder and Defwin meet. It doesn't go over well.
