Description

This weapon has a retractable blade, allowing it to be used as either a sword or a melee weapon. It also has emergency supplies (such as antidotes, bandages, matches, and cord) in the hilt. It was originally going to be another weapon for my character Renegade (the character wielding this sword- www.deviantart.com/karaoaliasr… ), but then I decided to give it to Legacy, his half-brother, instead. It combines elements of Saba, the White Ranger’s short-sword from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and the Quantum Defender, the Quantum Ranger’s blaster/sword from Power Rangers Time Force. In one of my stories ( flamintales.fandom.com/wiki/Tw… ) Renegade stated that if he were a Power Ranger, his theme would be a raven, some kind of dragon hybrid, or some kind of monster bird, and his color would be blue, black, or some shade of gray. Because of this I changed the tiger head at the end of Saba’s hilt to a raven head, changed the dinosaur head of the Quantum Defender to a vaguely draconic head, and made the overall weapon blue, black, and grey. The name comes from the song “Hero” by Enrique Iglesias. Renegade making this weapon, and eventually giving it to Legacy instead, shows his more noble side as well as his faith that Legacy can be a great hero. As per Renegade's wishes, it has been given a treatment to make it immune to Renegade's energy powers, making it one of the few weapons that can penetrate his energy forcefield.
