[But the Children of Heaven counted their chickens a little too early, because heading to the desert was Waren and his group.]
Waren: Ugh, walking through this desert is exhausting.
Keres: No kidding, we've only gone for a few miles and some of us are sweating more profusely.
Scarlet: Maybe we can head to the desert village called Sandstone Valley. They let people rent Sand Rippers for traveling through the sandy desert
Waren: Sand Rippers?
Keres: Those shark-like Shadows that swim through the sand that those Sand Marauders ride around on?
Waren: I thought they were some kind of motorcycle, not a monster!
Keres: Yeah, but still. We gotta put an end to whatever those jerks are planning before it gets even MORE out of control.
Scarlet: (sees the town) There it is! Sandstone Valley!
Keres: (whistles) Perfect timing. C'mon, folks, we've got no time to waste!

[At Sandstone Valley, it was a complete ghost town.]
Keres: Juh...?!

[Buildings were dilapidated and markings of a wolf-headed shark in front of a moon were on each building.]
Keres: What just happened here...?!

[Slugger was hiding.]
Keres: (looks over) Excuse me, but couldja tell me what just happened?

[The Slugger screams, runs back into his house and locks the door.]
Waren: Uhhh.
Keres: Man, that guy's more jumpy than a jackrabbit after drinking an energy drink.
Waren: Let’s talk to that lady near the well.
Shady: Hey lady!

[The Female Alchemist looks over, panics, then runs away screaming.]
Shady: I guess they don’t like outsiders.
Waren: Maybe it’s because of that symbol on the town hall!
Crushmash: What are you doing out here?! Hide or the Sand Marauders will rob and/or kill ya! (hides in a potted plant)
Keres: Those thieves had something to do with this town's state, didn't they?

[A Female Healmedic hides in her home.]
Waren: Well ask that guy, Keres, maybe he’ll explain what happened.
Keres: (walks over to a rather familiar member) Excuse me sir, but did those Sand Marauders have anything to do with this?
Ron: (looks over) Yeah. Those horrid bandits been robbing us for months and if we don’t give them anything, they kill one of us. I've been ordering supplies just to keep those monsters satisfied. (points in the direction the Sand Marauders left) They took everything and then went to the Pyramids!
Keres: Thanks, now I know where to find and whack 'em. (punches her palm)
Ron: I should also tell you they even took the Sand Rippers this town's been tiding.
Keres: You mean to tell us that the Sand Rippers they ride on were the exact some ones you rent out to travelers?
Ron: Most of them that they ride on are wild, but yes, a lot if them are this town’s Sand Rippers. I even have them tagged to be sure.
Keres: Oooh, those slippery little... Now I'm REALLY gonna smash them!
Waren: At least we know where to go. Let’s roll.
Keres: (rushes ahead) We got some Sand Rippers to bring back to this town and a bunch of bandits to knock out!

[The group heads out.]
Ron: Be safe out there! There's more than just the Sand Marauders to keep an eye out for!
