[In another area on Green Gate, the group comes across a few mushroom platforms.]
Kirby: See any sign of that mech yet?
Steve Dee: Not yet.
Eggman: Hmm... Knowing Ronny, he’s probably trying to do what I- (sees a Ratnik ripping out the organs of a random animal and shoving machinery into it) Egh……
Volt: Okay, that’s is so wrong!
Sonic: Okay, I'm just gonna say it right now... What you've done to animals in the past is more tame than THIS, Eggman. I mean, you just put them INSIDE robots.

[The Ratnik turns around.]
Kirby: Whoa, talk about bugging out!

[The Ratnik attacks Eggman only to get it’s head kicked off by Shadow.]
Eggman: No lie there, Kirby! Thanks for the save, Shadow.

[A toxic gas was released and from two insect-based Ratniks, one that looks like a Motobug with violet fangs and a Buzzbomber that looks like the SatAM/Archie version, also with violet fangs and a violet stinger. Suddenly the Mecha Poison Mushroom crushed both of them.]
Text 1: Toxic Toadstool Dispenser
Text 2: Mecha Poison Mushroom
Sonic: Hey Mario, does that look familiar?
Mario: (looks up) Wha?!

[The mech spits out Poison Mushrooms.]
Mario: DODGE THOSE!
Buggy: Oh dear! (turns to his combat mode and sliced the mushrooms in half)
Eggman: I actually forgot he can do that... Ughh... Now I regret scrapping him…
Kirby: Hey, at least we got tons of ways to take this bad boy out. (swallows some water and becomes Water Kirby) Time to soak some shrooms!

[As he says that, the Ronnybot piloting the Mecha Poison Mushroom makes it spit up a Poison Mushroom, a Ghoul Shroom and a Zombie Shroom. Sonic preps a spindash, then leaps over the Poison Mushroom and does a Drop Dash on the Zombie Shroom and the Ghoul Shroom, killing them.]
Mario: (grabs a Fire Flower) Roasted mushrooms... Nothing's tastier!

[The mech rams into Mario.]
Peach: Mario!
Ronnybot: You're next...

[The Mecha Poison Mushroom drops another Ghoul Shroom, another Poison Mushroom and another Zombie Shroom, which get sprayed by Kirby.]
Ronnybot: You pest! PREPARE TO BE PUMPED FULL OF POISON- (yelps as Mario's hammer hits the side of the mech, followed by Peach's axe)

[The mech sparks and falls to the ground. Sonic then spin dashes into the Mecha Poison Mushroom.]
Ronnybot: NYAH!

[The machine exploded.]
Kirby: One Mecha Poison Mushroom Pizza, piping hot!
Shadow: Kirby…
Kirby: Yeah?

[Cut to Kirby screaming and being blown to bits by Shadow.]
Shadow: Never make bad jokes ever again!
Kas Dee: (facepalms) Enough with the guns!
Shadow: No I just killed him with Chaos Burst. I stole that from Kevin.
Sonic: Hey, he was our friend!
Shadow: Oh, grow up he has extra lives like the (points at Mario) fatso over there.

[Kirby then pops back in.]
Shadow: See?
Captain Toad: Man you kinda wished Maria had that- (realized what he said) No no no, wait, I didn’t mean it!

[Shadow punched Captain Toad.]
