[A closeup shows that it is in fact King K Rool, who is shown halfway through the desert, having survived some really intense heat in another part of it.]
Bowser: King K Rool?
King K Rool: (looks over) Oh, thank Grambi I found you! Now-
Mail Toad: Don't think for a second we don't know what you're up to!
King K Rool: What?!
Diddy: Yeah, you sided with those cultists just to get a hold of those bananas and our island!
King K Rool: Yes, but then those backstabbing double-crossing dodos turned my Kremlings into Husks and left me in the desert! Good thing us Kremlings are ectothermic too...
Mario: Are you serious?
King K Rool: Dead serious, that little bat-winged Beanie turned my Kremlings into these cybernetic gray zombies with that Dark Miasma. And just when my plans were coming to fruition!
Shellvalanche: Yeesh...
Bowser: Seems like I'm not the only reptile who lost a perfectly good lair.
King K Rool: Hmm?
Bowser: Yeah, that same Beanie Husk turned my castle into a stronghold for an evil wolf demon and that dingbat brother of mine, then it got destroyed. Again.
King K Rool: Can't you just build another one?
Bowser: That's what I intend to do. But first, we gotta get to Cyberspace, save Blue and kick the next general into the dirt.
King K Rool: Oooh, that sounds like a perfect plan! Mind if I come along?
Bowser: Why not?
King K Rool and Bowser: Watch out, Astarcuthox! We're coming for you!

[Speaking of Astarcuthox, pan to the Dark Source where a group of cultists, plus Yulis and another person were at. This new hooded person, a version of Phantom Lear, is shown conducting a ritual.]
Yulis: (thinks) "Hard to believe that Zack, one of that spiky haired guy's cousins here, is the leader of the Earth chapter..."
Phantom Lear: And now... Today is the day to create a batch of brand new Husks to aid our dark lord's cause in conquering this universe and reshaping it in his image!

[As that happens, the Giga Blamclops from before is shown falling into the vat along with some robot parts. Seconds later, the Giga Blamclops emerges as a cyborg Husk.]
Yulis: (thinks) "So some Shadows, despite stemming from this, can even be further corrupted by it... Interesting..."
Random Cultist: Yeah, uh, you know that spy we captured? He got busted out.
Yulis: Who cares? We're getting more Husks by the minute! Deploy the new one into Dark Cyberspace!
