She was really scared about the surgery, she didn't understand how or why a stomachache needed surgery

After she woke up she asked what happened and the doctor showed her a picture of the digestive system and he said "That little thing right there is was what gave you your tummyache brcause it got big and painful and I removed it so now you're all better" but she was do interested in the picture of the digestive system because she had no idea anything like that was inside her so she was constantly pointing to things and asking "what's that"

Because even though it's not the most intense surgery Kasey was 3 so having surgery is a big deal when youre little even if it's just an appendix

Also disclaimer I want to put I have never had surgery except for tooth extraction so I haven't experanced it first hand but

It can't be too bad

In Kaseys AP bio class she had to do an extensive project on a certen body part or condition, and chose appendix/appendicitis because she had hers out
