You don't like the emotes that get DD's? Simple solution to that. Suggest some you think do deserve it to ^mintyy . She decides what does and doesn't get DD'd in the emote community.
Furthermore, how does saying this solve the problem in any way? You've only come across as jealous by doing this. If you have an issue with a DD, take it up with the GM that gave it through a note, not the artist or artwork that received it as they rarely, if ever, have a say on the matter.
This form of comment is incredibly disrespectful to the deviant who made the work, as well as the GM that featured it.
I do hope that in the future you'll use more sense when complaining about a Daily Deviation.

Thank you, i actually didn't know that much about DD's. Also about Mintyy running emote DD's. I will keep that in mind.
Everyone keeps saying i'm being disrespectful or and asshole so far. Why? Cause i said it's boring and doesn't deserve a DD? I wasn't bashing it saying it was terrible or w/e. Sure i can understand it isn't the nicest thing to sat but everyone is a critic and i gae my opinion in a way that wasn't a insult. It's constructive criticism, so what would you rather me do, say it was amazing? No, because it wasn't.
How does this make me sound jealous? If anything i would rather see DD's going to pieces that are amazing, breath taking, and creative. But everyday i see good one get overlooked. This leads into me not knowing that there is actual catagories when giving DD's, so next time i will be more careful where i speak my mind.
To end, don't look at me like i'm a horrible person, so far everyone has acted as if i just killed a person over a tiny, 1 lined comment. Don't make mountains outta mole hills.

People are reacting in this manner because all you said was 'this doesn't deserve a DD'. It comes across as rude and a bit jealous, the reason being you've insulted the artwork of a fellow deviant who was featured by someone who thought the work deserved featuring. It seems as if you're saying you could do better. Constructive criticism would be identifying what you considered to be wrong with the deviation, suggesting ways it could be made better, and doing so in a non-abbrasive fashion.
Take the time to consider how your comment will be read and what impact it may have on a fellow deviant before posting it. This is a community, after all. If we don't show respect for each other, we'll never get anywhere.

I did take time to consider what i said. I said my opinion, then my reasoning, and it was blunt but not in a douche bag way. I used one adjective, and a very small one at that. you are saying it would have been better if i had said:
"this doesn't deserve the DD and here is why. Its boring, the emote is lacking movement and has little to no personality except the fact that we are told he is grumpy. He could be tired or brain-dead. I would rather would like to see him dazing off, get a frustration mark, and seeing him get all red and go back to normal."
That would make me sound like more of a dick. NOW THAT would of made me sound like i could have done better. Though not all of what i said in that last paragraph is true, i would like to make it clear that from one line of text a lot of crying and whining has come to me. Sorry for trying to NOT be a dick by making my statement simple.

First off let me say i am truly sorry that so much has come from one small comment. I wasn't trying to be a dick or anything. I was simply staing that it didn't amaze me (as i said, it was boring to me). I'm sorry if i came off being an intolerable jerk.

You make it sound as if i didn this in the original comment. i didn't say "I deserve this DD" or "Wow i'm so much better than that". I just said it doesn't deserve it. But, as i state in a recent comment, i didn't know that DD's went out in categories, so i will be more aware of that in the future. Going on with this, so far i have had a total of 4 people telling me "i should delete my account" "nothing in ur gallery" "you suck my 3-year old niece can do this" and many more. So the only people so far that are getting to big for their britches are the other commenters. All because of what? I put a comment that didn't agree?
You say i'm not one to judge, but i am, i'm the viewer, and i'm supposed to give my view in the comments, good or bad. If you got nothing but "WOW THIS IS GREAT!!1!" than nothing would come of it. Any comment, good or bad, is needed to give the overall public view on it. I just so happened to be on the bad side. Again sorry if that is offensive, but its thats how life is.
To wrap up, I hope you don't have any ill will against me, i have none for you. Again i wasn't trying to be a douche, just trying to give my thoughts.

well, as I told you before, youe free to post a critique, but I really feel bad when you kind of say that emotes do not deserve DD's. emotes are art too. that's all. and also there are ways and ways of giving critiques, and saying "you don't deserve it" IS offensive. and that's all, I don't intent to get into a fight with you ar anything of the kind, but please be more respectful when criticising.

Right, nothing going on in my gallery. This coming from someone with nothing but poor self-photos and anime (don't get me wrong, i like it, and your style is good, but thats all i see)
saying i don't deserve an account is something you can't say. I may not be the greatest artist, but 50% of the people on here suck at any style / medium / etc. of art. Don't believe me, do nothing for 1 hour except sit on the front page of "newest" and comment on every person that "doesn't deserve a account in DA", then get back to me.
Also, i said this because in my opinion this does not deserve a DD. 1) boring, nothing going on 2) its just a little dA buddy, there are tons of them that are better quality yet this one gets the DD 3) a DD should be showing off a great style, or use of medium in an artist view point. I see more pieces that are stunning yet get over looked everyday for a DD.
If you don't agree with, thats fine, you're entitled to your opinion, but don't go around saying that people are below you and don't deserve an account. Not even the best artists on this site would go so low.

Ur opinion about the emote is completly valid. But saying that to someone that you dont know how long it took to make it... maybe days, years, or maybe just a sec is as rude as saying that you dont deserve an account in dA. (which is also a valid opinion ;D)

I'm sorry but i can't let this go out with what you are saying.
Its not that its only a few words that effected me, it's that you think you're so above me that you have the right to tell people if they deserve to have an account or not. Who do you think you are? Your art may be better than mine, but its no where near the top (as you even stated, you aren't satisfied) so don't act all high and might when your no higher than anyone else in the dA community.
Saying i don't deserve an account is much more severe than me saying it doesn't deserve a DD. You are saying that I am worthless as an artist and don't deserve to have my art here where as all i said that it didn't deserve a DD, which is only an award. I didn't say the artist should delete their account because of it.
I wasn't being rude, i was being truthful. I stated my opinion and why i said it. Its called being a critic, and when it comes to DD, they defiantly deserve all the criticism (good and bad) they get. A DD is a held quite highly by the dA members, so giving them out should be done carefully. When given, that piece is put out there in front of everyone so that they can either like, or dislike it. If no one says its not that great than it will become a norm to allow stuff like that. Take your comment for example, your opinion is that i should delete my account because my gallery is terrible and doesn't need to exist. Though this is obviously just a rage induced comment and holds zero ground in the actual argument, it gives me a better perspective that my art isn't that great. If everyone i met just said "WOW YOU ARE GOOD" i would never improve. i wouldn't need to.
Now on to you "valid opionion". Honestly, do you really think i'm so undeserving of an account? Since it seems the only reason you say this is since i'm not a pro artist, you should delete your account. Your art maybe be better than most, but it can't compare with the top artists of this site. If you think that someone should even show their art unless its the best of the best, than there should only be about a few hundred artists on this site.
