This particular building wasn’t really meant to be viewed close up like this. You can tell by the lower quality textures. But I liked the open style of the porch, the arches, and the view of the street behind it, so I used it anyway.

I had to use a wide-angle lens to get both Ignis and the street in the shot, and that made his leg look like it was stretched out way too long. I did fix the lens distortion a little, but it’s a new skill for me, and I probably didn’t do it well or shorten it enough. Having not practiced artistic skills for most of my life, my brain struggles a bit with perspective. Hopefully I’ll get better with time because I use wide-angle lenses a lot in my shots for environment work.
