Completed for FAE'S Spring tide In FAE-Land show.[link]
Painted on 9 x 12 Arches 140lb artists paper. With watercolors and WC pencils.

I have been getting requests to do more children's art
and this show was a wonderful opportunity for me to do so,
wanted to illustrate something that ties all the beauties of spring,
warm weather,green grass and red hair for st patty's
bunnies,butterflies Easter and ofcourse fairies 
oh yeah and baby chicks too first time in my life i painted any
Art wise wish i painted some parts better, for some reason when i saved my file the artwork has a blurry appearance in some parts or maybe it's just my eyes or monitor-I'm kinda tired

This is awesome easter themed drawing, Katerina, the girl is absolutely adorable
i don't know maybe it is just me but it seems like she has only one wing ...

i did draw another one in my initial sketch and for some reason it didn't look good to me and just left it in the imagination of the viewer, kinda like hiding behind her back (?) hope it makes sense

when i was drawing her wings
i just left it to the illusion of being

It looks wonderful babe, and honestly I wouldn't have noticed it at a glance. *blush* In truth I kind of study some peoples work to try and figure out how they do certain things so I really get in there and dissect and pick apart. You just happen to be one of those people who's art I think is good enough to try and figure out HOW exactly you got a certain effect.

Beautiful job Katerina!!! What a wonderful piece to celebrate the elements of spring. You do children so well - you have a real gift for capturing their innocence and joy. I think it would be great if you did more art incorporating kids.
