i wanted to create my own list of actors for the charcters of cassandra clare's novels the mortal instruments. most of them other have already selected as actors and that which i have agreed upon (because i liked them)Related content

while doing some research online i found the perfect jocelyn: Rachel Nichols. she has red hair and is tall with beautiful facial construction. also while on the seem site i found a Vee Sky from hush hush :caroline winberg (incase you're interested)

im still trying to figure out who i would pick for clary but for magnus i think that adam lambert would be fantastic like seriously think about it
for simon i think Paul Iacono from the 2009 Fame he has the look and he could easily pass for 16
im still looking for the other characters myself but these are the ones i have so far

OMG SO YES ON PAUL IACONO. though he is like 22, and kind of short, but as for appearences: thumbs up.
i know. adam would be good for magnus but mangus is phsycially 19-20 and is a skinny asian guy hence why i went with miyavi, though i have been thinking dante basco (if you have seen Hook you'll know that he won't mind coloured hair). and i am still looking for a better jocelyn: rachelle lefevre (yes victoris from twilight but i will remember her as stacy from big wolf on campus)

magnus bane is not in fact asian, contrary to popular belief and i honestly dont understand what makes people think he is asian for that matter. Magnus bane was in fact most likely european, it is revealed in cassandra clare's own twitter that he was from a dutch east indies descent. he was also like 900yrs old so there is really no way that he could be even slightly asian so sorry to burst your bubble

Wow, replying to this some months later..BUT, I felt obliged to correct this since I just finished my AP Euro course and we just reviewed all about the Dutch and their trade outposts, ect.
Where do you think the Dutch East Indies is? Malaysia, right off the coast from China and 'Nam and all that.
So unless he was actually one of the Dutch colonists, which I doubt, he's defiantly Pacific/Asian.

actually it said so in the book that he was. "Clary guessed from the curve of his sleepy eyes and the gold tone of his evenly tanned skin that he was part Asian" and he is only 700-800 years old
